Taking place at the Ricoh Arena on the 1st & 2nd July, IntralogisteX is set to be one of the first exhibitions to run in 2021 following the reaching of stage four of the government’s road map to re-opening the UK economy.

IntralogisteX is the UK’s largest annual exhibition for the intralogistics industry. The two-day event allows visitors to meet industry leading exhibitors and discover how the latest technology can be applied to their operations to provide massive improvements in productivity and accuracy. As IntralogisteX is a trade-only exhibition, it is strictly for buyers looking for solutions, guaranteeing exhibitors more time to generate leads and meet key decision makers.

To help exhibitors get their messages across to these key buyers, expo.rent have put together a comprehensive range of audio-visual, sound and computer equipment for hire at affordable prices and with a “no hassle” service.

Team expo.rent will be on site at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry delivering audio-visual, sound and computer equipment for customers in a Covid-secure manner. Throughout the periods where exhibitions have been unable to open, we’ve been looking at how we can deliver products and services in a way that gives our customers the confidence to use hired-in equipment.

Our Covid-secure protocols include regular equipment sanitization throughout the preparation phase in our workshops, and then again during the build phase on site. We will also provide sanitiser products for use during the show to enable equipment cleansing between users. At the end of the show, we will once again sanitise the equipment upon collection, and then upon returning to our warehouse we will quarantine all equipment for a period of 72 hours before making the equipment available for hire to reduce the possibility of cross-contamination and viral spread.

Exhibitions – They’re What We Do!

Exhibitions in the UK have been on hold now for twelve months. One of the first industries to close due to Covid-19, exhibitions and business events will be one of the last to reopen.

On the 22nd February, the UK Prime Minister outlined his roadmap to reopening the economy in Britain. Hopefully, small events will run from May 17th and larger events from June 21st, but we have a long way to go yet. These opening dates depend upon the outcome of “pilot events” which will determine which procedures organisers and venues will have to put into place to be “Covid-Secure”.

These pilot events are due to take place at the beginning of April, and then the organisers of events will take the decision as to whether or not their events will run in the second half of 2021. Naturally, we hope that July 2021 onwards will see the return of exhibitions and business events so we can get back to site at places like the Telford International Centre, NEC Birmingham, and ExCel London, doing what we do best – hiring great Audio-Visual, Sound, Lighting, Video and Computer equipment to customers like you.

And if you’re worried about making a booking with us for a show that subsequently gets postponed or cancelled, don’t panic. Our Covid guarantee will simply move your booking to the new show dates in the case of postponement, and you’ll get a full refund if the show is cancelled.
